Background
The House of Diaspora was founded to provide construction management solutions for Kenyans abroad who do not have the benefit of doing it themselves. This segment of Kenyans has been disadvantaged in this respect and has ended up losing millions of their hard earned money to friends and family members they trusted to help in the matter of property development. Beside family and friends, unscrupulous companies have come up driven by fast profits and did shoddy work for the projects they were entrusted to carry out or inflated the cost of doing such projects in hope of keeping maximum “profits”. Or even vanished with client’s money meant for the projects. This has fueled distrust and hindered further engagements in this line of development by the diaspora. This brings us to the question.
Why deal with The House of Diaspora? Having worked in the banking sector and specifically dealing with diaspora in relationship management for a decade. Mr Wandera observed that processes have contributed immensely in the diaspora getting conned. The House of Diaspora addresses all loopholes that have been used over time to these selfish ends and brings some professionalism and integrity to the industry. Of primary interest to The House of Diaspora is the ability to deliver. This triggered partnerships with construction professionals in the market like Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, and Contractors who are seasoned in their respective practices and have healthy profile sin addition to them being registered practitioners in the industry with a taste for superior workmanship that will deliver quality to the clients.
